My name is Sarah Nuss, the creator of Foxglove and Lantern.
Misty Creek has lived quietly in my imagination for more than a decade. What began as a novel slowly became something even more personal—a place I wanted people to visit one letter at a time.
Every story, every illustration, and every piece of artwork is created by me with the hope that, for a few moments each month, you'll feel like you've stepped into a town where kindness still matters.

And just as the town begins speculating about what might have happened, a newcomer rolls into town and turns everyone's expectations upside down.

When will my letter ship?
Letters are mailed on the 10th of each month. If the 10th falls on a Sunday or holiday, we will ship on the very next business day.
Once your envelope begins its journey, delivery times will vary depending on your location, usually 1-3 weeks
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! We love welcoming readers from around the world.
International shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
Please note that international deliveries may take longer to arrive depending on your country's postal service.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes.
You may cancel future shipments at any time by contacting us.
Any envelopes already prepared or shipped cannot be canceled.
Can I get a refund?
Because each mailing is created and prepared specifically for our readers, we are unable to offer refunds on shipped letters.
If your package arrives damaged or there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we'll do our best to make it right.
What if my letter gets lost in the mail?
Once a letter leaves Foxglove and Lantern, it begins its journey through the postal system.
If your letter has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe (1-3 weeks for USA residents), please contact us and we'll work with you to find a solution.
Can I send a subscription as a gift?
Absolutely!
Misty Creek makes a wonderful gift for readers, writers, gardeners, cozy mystery lovers, and anyone who enjoys receiving thoughtful mail.
How does Seasonal Enrollment Work?
Misty Creek is experienced one season at a time.
Each season consists of three monthly mailings that follow the ongoing happenings around town. Letters are mailed on the 10th of each month and include stories, artwork, recipes, and seasonal keepsakes inspired by life in Misty Creek.
Readers may join a season at any time before enrollment closes.
For example, Fall enrollment remains open through November 1.
If you join after September or October letters have already been mailed, we'll include any previously released letters from that season so you can enjoy the complete Fall experience.
Once a season closes, new readers may join the next available season or visit the Historical Society Archives to explore past adventures in Misty Creek.
After all, every town has a history, and Misty Creek is no exception.
